Day Three Hundred and Fifty-eight

Remember this?! Oooooh, you know you do. I saw in the chippy tonight and couldn't resist it. "Bass Shandy" made with real beer, and holding the unbelievably high alcohol content of ..... 0.5%, for many long years this was the closest many of us ever got to having a beer like Dad!

Day One Hundred and Ninety-Seven

I'd earned this! I've been on a strong fitness kick for the past month, as you may have noticed from my blog entries about running and cycling. Together with this I declared September to be a 'Beer Free Month'. I made through easy enough but a month was for sure enough. If a blind man got his sight back would he walk around with his eyes closed? Nooo, and its October now, so I'm having a beer. Cheers.

After the long drive from Buffalo we made it to Ohio and enjoyed a few goooood (and well earnt) beers catching up with my cousin and her family.

Today we're in New York. This city has everything, including too many beers to choose from, kept me and my friend Dean busy for hours!

Day Sixty-seven

On a scorching hot Sunday there's only one suitable way to enjoy the sunshine in Wooburn. We headed down the village green to throw the (american) football around for a bit, followed by some refreshingly cold lagers...

Day Forty-eight

A brewery tour this evening and the opportunity to sample a couple more beers than is probably necessary!

Its 6pm on Friday evening. The best way to get the weekend started?

...almost, a failure on my part to prepare meant these beers were still warm...nothing 20 minutes in the freezer couldn't fix though...
